An epic riddle
Where do the ape-like cryptids hide,
who seldom leave a clue?
They make their rare appearance,
spotted only by a few.
Still seen as baseless rumors
by the skeptics of our race,
perhaps they'll change their minds
when they're confronted "face to face" .
All subpar camera sightings
haven't proved beyond a doubt
that the dark and blurry images
are enough to bear them out.
If you sense a Bigfoot nearing,
there's a sure fire way to tell,
as long before a sighting,
they're preceded by a smell!
They blend in with the scenery,
despite their massive size.
Unless they move or make a sound,
they'll slip right past your eyes.
They're said to be nocturnal beasts
who skulk the woods at night.
To hunt them in the dark,
beware of boulders taking flight!
They knock on trees and vocalize,
establishing their ground,
but finding them's impossible
by following their sound.
The few who've seen a Bigfoot
let it slip right through their fingers,
and it stays well beyond their grasp
because it never lingers.
Further searches failed to yield
real proof of their existence,
yet hunters maintain confidence
of their capture through persistence.
They've yet to find a vestige
of this beast or its remains,
which leads one to suspect
